What sort of benefits could there be to drafting your papers with your own world view leading your thought processes?
The ways that we can benefit is we can see what we are writing in a natural view. We would not have to think about what we are writing and just let it flow naturally. Our mind has a lot of thoughts that are already there, but we over think ourselves when we are timed in writing. We can benefit from it because our mind can think freely and it would have less of a destraction from the outside world. We can use the experieces that is happening around us to make our paper seem better and more understandable. And your thought process would be based on what your first mind says and not what you think others would like to hear.
To what extent is she right, and to what extent can you argue that students can keep their original world views intact during and after education, sort of “play both fields”?
At some part she is right because a lot of students gets destracted with their daily lives and school purposes. You have to balance both of the outcomes of succeeding. You can have a normal life with school and your personal life, but for some people is hard to maintain. So i do agree with her because people are struggleing to balance it all out. I am not saying that it can not be done because it surely can. Having just one ordinary life in college is boring. When you see people around you enjoying the best experiences that college has to offer. You would want to experience something just like that. So It is possible, but it depends on the person and how they can cope with certain situations. Balance is the key to success and hardworking of course.
good points. lots of students stress about writing what their teachers want to hear, but in truth, teachers like to get some more varied and interesting responses to their prompts! keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI think you are so right we do over think alot of stuff and then second guess ourselves. We should just let our thoughts flow and be able to right down how we feel and what we think like world views do.
